St. Joseph, MI. - The Lake Michigan Admirals are making their moves and are excited to welcome 6'3" rookie guard Kahlil McDonald from Western Kentucky University out of the Sun Belt Conference. McDonald, in the two years with WKU, he played in 66 games and had a career average of 7.6 PPG, 2.0 RPG, and 1.7APG. "Kahlil is loved by all of his former coaches, friends, and teammates. You have signed a great leader," stated WKU asst. coach David Boyden. Kahlil was named to the Sun Belt All-Tournament Team in 2012. "The Admirals are blessed to have such an outstanding player and I look forward to seeing him play professionally," stated owner Chris Glisson. The Lake Michigan Admirals first game is on January 4th, 2014 in St. Joseph, Michigam against the Indianapolis Diesels. This is the Admirals third year in the Premier Basketball League(PBL).
