Lake Michigan Admirals vs. Seattle Game 1

St. Joseph, MI - The Lake Michigan Admirals did not let the crowd of 500 down on Saturday night at the "House of Noise". The game started with Seattle going on an 11-0 run to start the game. The crowd was stunned and you couldn't hear a pin drop but the Admirals answered with a run themselves. At the end of the first quarter Admirals led 26-25. When the teams started play in the second quarter the Admirals decided to take control while going into the half with a 50-46 lead. "The teams were evenly matched and the crowd got their monies worth tonight," stated owner, Chris Glisson. When the teams came out of the locker room you could see Seattle came out with a mission. The Mountaineers went on a 33-19 run to go ahead 79-69. Again the crowd seemed worried but the Admirals stayed calm within the storm. With the play of veteran leadership, the Admirals went on a 38-26 fourth quarter run and won the game 107-105. Odgra Bobo and Dominick Melton led the Admirals with 23 points each and Steve Strong had 21 points and scored the winning basket. Seattle Mountaineers guard Rasheed Powell led all scores with 26 points. The Admirals next game is Sunday, December 5th at Coloma High School at 3:00pm.
