Beijing wins in a close one
Cangzhou, China- The Lake Michigan Admirals were playing on all cylinders Monday night in front of a sold out crowd of 7,500 against the Beijing Aoshen Olympians but unfortunately, they came a little short. The Admirals were ahead at the end of the first quarter 31-25 and went into the half down 57-51. The Admirals came out with a new look with Pete Trammel running the point and Steve Strong moving to shooting guard. That allowed Eddie Spencer, Odgra Bobo, and Larry Logan on the court at the same time. "I was pleased with our guys tonight. We moved the ball well and we played defense with intensity." quoted Coach Glisson.The Lake Michigan Admirals were led by Odgra Bobo with 25 points and Eddie Spencer with a double double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. The Beijing Olympians were led by Jamal Staten and Sun Yue both scoring 18. Final score was 96-93 in favor of Beijing. The final game of a three game series will end on December 30th in Qinghuangdau.
